Gray Matters is a story driven puzzle platformer being developed in Unity2D by my own studio: Studio Dread LLC.
In Gray matters you traverse the environment and solve puzzles using an innovative mechanic called realm hop, dynamically switching between two mirrored realities in the realms of Heaven and Hell. Over the course of development I have created custom character controller scripts with satisfying and smoothe platforming in mind including hallmark mechanics such as coyote time.
As the first project to come out of my studio Gray Matters has taught me more than anything else about leading a team of artists and developers with different skills and backgrounds, effective communication, and strong leadership when it comes to delegating tasks and making realistic goals for every aspect of development as well as strong decisions about scope and how to best utilize available resources.
